Tools To Show The World You’re Verified
Promo Kit Locked
The Promo Kit gives verified mechanics a QR code, a downloadable “Verified by Ethical Mechanic” badge, ready-to-paste social copy, and a printable shop-window decal. Because all of these declare you as verified, they’re held back until a real human at Ethical Mechanic has reviewed your photo ID and business documents.
§ I. Why Promote Your Verification
You earned the verified mark. Use it. Customers who see “Verified by Ethical Mechanic” on your shop window, your truck, your invoices, or your social posts choose you over an unverified competitor. Below is everything you need to display that mark, all sized correctly and free to use forever.
§ II. QR Code & Public URL
Print on signage, business cards, your truck, or invoice paperwork. Customers scan it with their phone camera and land directly on your verified Ethical Mechanic listing.
§ III. Verified Mechanic Badge
Drop this on your website footer, in your email signature, or on social media. The badge declares you’ve been verified by Ethical Mechanic and links your customers back to your live listing.
§ IV. Share Copy
Ready-to-paste announcements for social media and email. Edit any of these — they’re drafts, not commandments.
§ V. Printable Shop Window Decal
Print on standard 8.5×11" paper or order a vinyl decal. Stick it on your shop window, your truck, or above the front desk. Includes your business name and the QR code customers can scan from across the parking lot.
§ VI. Usage Rules
- You may use the “Verified by Ethical Mechanic” mark only as long as your account remains in good standing and your verification is current.
- If your verification is ever revoked (recurring fraud reports, falsified documents, or expired credentials you don’t renew), you must remove the mark from all of your physical and digital materials.
- Don’t edit the badge artwork. Resize freely; don’t alter the colors, the seal, or the wording.
- If a customer scans your QR code and lands somewhere unexpected, contact us — that means your slug or listing got broken.
